 Prayer to our Lady of Caysasay

O Virgin of Caysasay, our refuge in time of our needs, our protection and shield against our foes, you are given to us by your son, Jesus Christ, to be our Mother and you took us to be loved and cared for as your own.


We ask you to give us understanding to know the will of God, and faith that we may fully submit ourselves to your only begotten Son as His brothers and sisters and as your righteous and obedient children.


In times of our weakness and inadequacy, we ask you to help us in our needs and hear all our petitions (state your petition).


All these we ask and entrust in you for we know that you will intercede unfailingly for us to your dear son Jesus Christ who lives and reigns with the Father and the Holy Spirit.Amen. (3 Hail Marys)

The prayer that follows must be recited for nine consecutive Tuesdays, lighting a candle on each Tuesday.This miraculous Saint has been known to grant anything, no matter how difficult it is, before the ninth Tuesday.

Saint Martha, I resort to thy aid and protection. As proof of my affection and faith, I offer thee this light, which I shall burn every Tuesday. Comfort me in all my difficulties and through the great favors thou didst enjoy when the Savior was lodged in thy house, intercede for my family, that we be provided for in our neccessities. I ask of thee, Saint Martha, to overcome all difficulties as thou didst overcome the dragon which thou hadst at thy feet. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

PRAYER

Oh, kalinis-linisang Birhen, Rosang walang kasing bango’t
dikit na pag-ibig na maningas sa Diyos.
Oh, maalab na sinta na kinaliligayahan ng Maykapal !
Ilingap mo nawa sa abang kaluluwa ko iyang maawain
mong mga mata at gamutin mo yaring madlang kasakitan ko.
Maging larawan ka’t salaming buhay na siyang dapat kong
hanguan ng halimbawa sa pag-ibig ko sa Diyos.
At yamang hindi ko maparisan ang kataasan ng iyong pag-ibig,
mangyaring tuntunin ko man lamang
ang bakas ng mga mahal mong talampakan…
Ako po’y tapunan mo ng kamunting init niyang
maalab mong puso, nang ako’y matutuong magbalik-loob sa Diyos at umibig sa Kanyang lalo, habang ako’y nabubuhay.
Oh, Inang mahal ng magandang sinta’t pag-ibig sa Diyos,
ako’y kaawaan mo’t kahabagang ampunin ngayon
at sa oras nang kamatayan ko.
